Euro 2008 TV Schedules for ESPN India are out!

May 27

ESPN has now posted the complete schedule for the Euro 2008 matches. We have taken the trouble to convert those timings for Indian Television so you don’t have to do all the dirty work.

The Euro 2008 tournament will begin with a lot of merryment. The Pre show will begin on 7th June 2008, at 8:30 p.m. IST and will go on for 50 minutes.

This will be followed by a Group A match between Switzerland and Czech Republic at 9:20 p.m. And then a match between Switzerland and Turkey at Geneva, Switzerland at 11:45 p.m.

From hereon the timings of the matches are pretty much fixed. There will be a 20 minute Pre-show at 9:00 p.m. before the game and a 15 minute Post-show after the game. Below is the complete schedule of the Euro 2008 event.

Update: Star Sports will be broadcasting the clashing matches.

*All timings are in Indian Standard Time. Use the Time Converter to convert it to your respective time zone.

* The timing for the next match is on the next day. For instance, Saturday, 7th June, Portugal Vs Turkey 12:05 a.m. is actually on 8th June, 12:05 a.m. I just thought putting it this way would give a better perspective on the structure of the games.

I’m very sorry for this error, which however is not my fault entirely. They have changed their timing, with the second match starting 20 minutes later than the said timing. Will be corrected. Thank you for bringing this to our notice.

  29. [...] Word is that DD National will be broadcasting the remainder of the Euro 2008 games for the entire Indian population to see. DD hasn’t put out any official time table so you will have to rely on the ESPN timetable for the matches.  [...]
