Indianapolis 500 finals in USA

The 92nd Indianapolis 500-mile race, often known as Indianapolis 500 or just Indy500 is set to take place on the 25th of May, 2008. An American race held annually over the Memorial Day weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indiana, the event lends its name to the IndyCar class of formula race cars that compete in it.

The IndyCar Series practice began May 4. Time trials will take place over the two weekends prior to the race (May 10–11 and 17–18). The final practice, as well as the Firestone Freedom 100, will be held Friday, May 23.
Twenty-two starting positions for the 92nd Running of the Indianapolis 500 remain in play as rain washed out Second Day Qualifying at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Qualifications will continue Saturday, May 17 when positions 12-33 will be filled.
The Indianapolis event will air Live on ESPN India on the 25th of May at 10:20 p.m. with an estimated duration of 3 hours 40 minutes.
The Indy500 event broadcasted in India will begin with:

- Command to Start Engines, Mari Hulman George, Victory Podium.
- 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car Driver Emerson Fittipaldi Leads the Field to the Start
- Honorary Starter Floyd Mayweather Waves the Green Flag to Start the 92nd Indianapolis 500-Mile Race 12:20 a.m. (26th May, 2008)
