May 20
After Valentino Rossi claiming victory and the World Championship lead at the French Grand Prix held recently, the MotoGP World Championship will move to Italy.

Valentino Rossi took a runaway triumph at the Alice Grand Prix de France, equalling Angel Nieto´s record of 90 World Championship wins with a superb solo run. Rossi now leads the World Championship by three points from Lorenzo and Pedrosa, level on points in second.
In a selfless display, Rossi shared the limelight with the MotoGP Legend — Angel Nieto of Spain — asking him to take him on a parade lap onboard the Yamaha M1. Aside from equalling the historic milestone, the win also allowed the five-time MotoGP World Champion to assume the leadership of the overall standings for the first time this season.

Let us now see if Rossi can hold this candle on home grounds.
The MotoGP World Championship 2008 “Gran Premio D’Italia Alice” , held at Mugello, Italy will be aired Live on 1st June 2008 at 2:27 p.m. IST. It will be a four hour event so better get some snacks ready.
