The Open de España (or the Spanish Open) is the national open golf championship of Spain and is held in San Roque Golf Club. It was founded in 1912 and has been part of the European Tour’s schedule since the inception of the Tour in 1972.

The stage is set for a thrilling 2008 Spanish Open, hosted for the second time at the brand new Centro Nacional de Golf in Madrid. Star players and past Spanish Open winners will attempt to scoop the top prize and title of Open de España 2008 champion. Distinguished former Spanish Open champions include Arnold Palmer, Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer and Nick Faldo.

The game is going to be aired Live at 6:30 p.m., 4th May on Zee Sports India.
