Our first hundred are up. Looking forward to the thousand.

My Sports India has completed its 100th post. We had a dream. That people would find sports accessible in India. We’ve been there ourselves. Hunting for TV schedules, match previews, news clips. My Sports India was born out of our need to create something that we ourselves could use. And we have surpassed our expectations.

So how have we come?

  • We have over 400 visits a day. A large amount of whom are from Google hungry for match schedules.
  • We have attracted new writers. We will soon have two new bloggers writing for My Sports India.
  • A large amount of visitors are from outside the Indian subcontinent. Meaning the blog is one of its kind. Maybe we need to make a more international version. For those international users, please use the World Clock converter in our Links section to convert timings.

Added features

  • Upcoming events: A lot of events are not high profile. We will highlight the next big events on TV so you don’t miss out on them.
  • Ads. To maintain the quality of content, we need to place Ads on the site. Let us know if the placement is affecting your reading and we shall improve it.
  • Blogrush widget: The widget provides you relevant links to other blogs on the blogrush network. Blogrush only includes quality blogs in their network so do take a look at them once in a way.

We need your feedback.
While we have been in the writing field for quite a while, we are very new to blogging. Let us know how we can improve ourselves. Do you need more information in the posts? Would you like timings for different time zones? Should we publish more news stories? Sound off in the comments. We pay attention to each and every one of them.

Write for us. Send us tips. Let’s linkup.
Would you like to voice out your
opinion on past and future sporting events? Write for My Sports India. You could either be a part of team My Sports India as a full time blogger, or even be a casual guest writer. Maybe you have a sports blog dedicated to some speciality game. If you have an interesting post, send it our way and we’ll link it back to you. Email us at ‘admin [at] my sports india [dot] com’ to get in touch.

Congrats :) You guys are doing a good job. I’m usually a cricket fan but suddenly I realise there are so many more interesting sports. I still love cricket though :)
