World SBK Superpole - Germany, Nurburgring on Zee Sports

Carlos Checa powered to a sensational double win in the sixth round of the HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship at the Miller Motorsports Park circuit in the USA (June 1st). The race, watched by 51,000 spectators, marked World Superbike’s return to the United States for the first time since 2004.
Hannspree Ten Kate Honda’s Spanish rider scored the first double win of his career and set fastest lap in both races to add to his Superpole win yesterday, and in so doing gave Honda their 100th victory in the Superbike World Championship. With today’s wins, Checa has reduced the gap to leader Troy Bayliss (Ducati Xerox) to 28 points after the Australian left the USA with zero on his scorecard, the result of a crash and a technical problem in the two races.
The next race is going to come back to Europe, in Germany at the Nürburgring race track. Zee Sports will be airing Race 1 Live on 14th June at 7:30 p.m. Race 2 will follow on the next day, June 15th, at 6:30 p.m.
