The GP2 Series, GP2 for short, is a form of motor racing introduced in 2005 following the discontinuation of the long-term Formula One ‘feeder’ sport, Formula 3000. Designed to make racing affordable for the teams and to make it the perfect training ground for life in Formula One, GP2 has made it mandatory for all of the teams to use the same chassis, engine and tyre supplier so that true driver ability is reflected. 

The 2008 GP2 Series began in Barcelona, Spain in April, moved on to Turkey, and now the third race will be held at Monte Carlo, Monaco. It should be noted that the same 13 teams that took part in 2007 will race in 2008. 

The 2008 GP2 Series Monte Carlo, Monaco races will be shown on Ten Sports on 25th May 2008. Race 1 will be between 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Race 2 will be 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
